If you run a business in Singapore, a large part of your next branding, website or digital marketing project may not have to come out of your own pocket. Since 30 September 2026, government support for these projects runs through a single scheme: the EDGE Grant.
What is the EDGE Grant?
EDGE consolidates three grants Singapore businesses relied on for years - the Enterprise Development Grant (EDG), the Productivity Solutions Grant (PSG) and Market Readiness Assistance (MRA) - into one framework administered by Enterprise Singapore. New applications under the three older grants stopped on 30 September 2026; projects approved before then continue under the old rules.
The idea is to make support simpler. Instead of working out which of three grants fits your project, you apply once, under EDGE, for business transformation, productivity and overseas-expansion support.
How much can you claim?
For eligible SMEs, EDGE supports:
- ●Up to 50% of qualifying costs for standard activities
- ●Up to 70% for internationalisation and sustainability activities
- ●A cap of S$100,000 per company per year (1 April to 31 March)
- ●Within that cap, up to S$30,000 for digital solutions and automation
Non-SMEs are now eligible too, at up to 30% for standard activities and up to 50% for internationalisation and sustainability. Support levels are set by Enterprise Singapore and can change, so confirm the current figures before you plan around them.
Which projects are fundable?
EDGE covers eight business areas with more than 150 activities. For a brand or marketing project, three usually apply:
- ●Business Strategy - brand and go-to-market strategy, positioning and planning
- ●Automation and Digitalisation - websites, web apps, and the SEO and AI-search systems that make you findable
- ●Internationalisation - taking a Singapore brand into Indonesia, the wider region or Australia
In practice, a new website, a brand refresh, an SEO or AI-search programme, or an overseas market-entry campaign can all fall within scope - as long as the project is scoped and quoted correctly.
Working on this?
Let's put it into practice for your brand.
Are you eligible?
- ●A business entity registered and operating in Singapore
- ●At least 30% local ownership - Singaporean(s) and/or Singapore PR(s)
- ●The project has not started, and no deposit has been paid, before you apply
How to apply
This is the part most businesses get wrong, so it is worth stating plainly: your company applies for EDGE itself, on the Business Grants Portal at business.gov.sg. Enterprise Singapore does not allow a vendor or consultant to submit the application on your behalf.
What a provider does is scope the project and give you a clear quotation that maps to the EDGE activity areas, so your application stands on solid ground - and then deliver the work once it is approved. Wait for approval before you start; work begun or deposits paid before applying are not supported.
Where Omeoo fits
Omeoo is a visibility agency: we make brands easier to find and harder to ignore by combining SEO, AI search, websites and social into one system. Much of that work maps cleanly onto EDGE's Business Strategy, Digitalisation and Internationalisation areas.
If you are a Singapore business planning a branding, website or market-entry project, we can help you scope it so it is grant-ready, then build it. You can see the full breakdown, including current support levels and eligibility, on our Singapore Grants page.
“The grant lowers the cost. The project still has to earn its place - scope it around a real outcome, not around the subsidy.”
