Hi, in this tutorial we will be having a touch up photography without making it inhumane. So there are a couple of details that I didn’t want to go into waste. And this is the tutorial.
Step01:
First this image is from a http://wordpress-11340-25313-60382.cloudwaysapps.com//www.jpgmag.com/photos/7614 photographed by Mitchell Kanashkevich.
Duplicate it by pressing ctrl+j.
And if you check the blue layer in the channel box, this is how it should look like.
Step02:
Then go to filter>blur>Gaussian blur.
Set the radius into 7 pixel.
Then change the layer mode into color.
Step03:
Click twice in the layer to open the layer’s mode.
Uncheck the red and green box.if you look at blue layer in the channel box,
this is how it should look like now.
Step04:
Then go to make a curve layer by clicking the icon for create a new fill or adjustment layer in the layer box, and then select curve. It will open a new layer like this, then set the curve, until the image is looking balanced.
Step05:
Then select the all the layer except the curve layer, duplicate them, then merge them.rename them to “merge”
Step06:
Use polygonal lasso in the toolbox, and then select the skin minus the sharp edges, like eyes ,nose, mouth or any place you want to be untouchable.
This is how mine’s look.
Step07:
Press shift+ctrl+I, to inverse the selection. Then delete it.
Now the background of the layer is transparent. Then press ctrl+d to deselect.
Step08:
Then go to filter>blur>Gaussian blur. Set the radius into 20 pixel.
Then change the opacity into 75%.
Step09:
Select the first two original layer, duplicate then merge them again. Rename them into “merge2”. Then click alt+ctrl+g to make this layer a mask.
Go to filter>other>maximum. Set the radius into 4.
Step10:
This is the result. Remember, this tutorial isn’t about making things perfect. It’s just to cover some flaws without making it inhumane.
So there are a couple of details that I didn’t want to go into waste. And this is it.
