Online video is on the raise. Video is today’s most uploaded file on the internet. YouTube reach 1 billion views per day or over 41 million views per hour.

From that number we can see that online video could be huge trend in 2010. Therefore, some web agencies may utilize this phenomenon and make some move with online video marketing. Omeoo Media as one of the leading web development agency in Jakarta has done this.

Online Video

Because we know there’s something that could engages people in some way with video, that can’t be done by text or image. The power of video lets users interact more, and encourage viral spread. The key is simplicity. Don’t make our video too long. Thirty seconds should be the best duration. Long enough to stuff some message, but also short enough so it wouldn’t take long time to buffer.

Good thing that we have video hosting site like YouTube or Vimeo. This way we don’t have to load our own server with heavy video files. Just upload it on YouTube and embed it to our website. There are more chance for more people to see it if you put it on YouTube, you know why.

So it’s time to turn your online ad into video. Based on Online Publishers Association research, 52 out of 100 people took action after viewing video ad. This makes online video ads one of the strongest marketing tools on the internet.
